In the second episode of “Hold Back Nothing: Sharing Our Franciscan Life,” we discover how St. Bonaventure’s understanding of the Eucharist as the “sacrament of communion and love” invites us to cultivate welcoming communities that care for the poor and marginalized.

Join Franciscan friar Br. Tyler Grudi as he shares how the friars’ emphasis on “right relationship,” characterized by an option for the poor and love and care for all God’s creation, inspired him to become a Franciscan friar. This focus has directed his ministerial priorities and intensified his experience of Eucharistic living.

Together he and Br. Tyler Harris reflect on how the theology of St. Bonaventure illuminates the restorative and unifying nature of the Eucharist that prompts us to deeper love of neighbor and orients us to the fullness of communion with the Body of Christ.

How is God inviting you to be in right relationship with others?
