Diocesan newspaper recognizes friars' work in Buffalo, New York

Western New York Catholic, a diocesan newspaper, recently featured Buffalo’s SS. Columba Brigid Parish for a special Feast of the Epiphany project. 

Deacons, priests, and lay volunteers dressed as Magi blessed more than 70 homes with incense and holy water in neighborhoods throughout Buffalo. During the event, a heartwarming reunion occurred at the home of Fidele Dhan, who had been stranded during the Christmas 2022 blizzard. The friars and volunteers who found him shelter during the storm joyfully blessed his home together. Read more about this festive event.
